$1.75 Vermont Glass Factory Serial #9 July 20, 1812

Vermont Glass Factory note drawn on the Farmers Bank of Troy, NY.  Vermont Glass Factory notes are common but this is the first one to surface from 1812 and serial # 9 is the lowest known to exist by far.  Its not in the best condition but rare notes rarely are.
