MD-52 Maryland $1/3 Dollar 1s 6p Colonial Note. This low denomination Maryland Colonial Currency note is so rare it is not priced in Friedberg and is simply listed as Very Rare in all conditions.  It has split and been reattached in 2 spots with tape but this cataloguer has only been able to find 2 others publically for sale and both were in must worse condition than this one and does not know of any in uncirculated condition.  It is fully signed and displays ornate bordering all around with the seal of the State of Maryland to the right side.  This one appears to have the most bold ink of all known at this time and displays strong color for such a well circulated note but does display pin holes from previous repairs that have “greened” due to the metal use for pinning. However if you want an affordable rare Maryland note this is the note for you.    Printed by AC and H Green.
