Fr 1275 spwmf/b Pair 15¢ Hand Signed Fractional Currency 3rd Issue PCGS AU58PPQ/PMG AU53. These notes are famous for being printed in limited quantities and only in specimen format with most being shamefully cut down to make GEM leaving wide margin pairs very hard to collect. These notes were the first victim of Congress' laws preventing living humans from being represented on coins or currency after Spencer Clark placed his own portrait on the 5 cent note. An absolutely beautifully matched pair that pedigree to “the Robert Laub Blue Collar Collection of Fractional Currency” on January 17, 2021. The signatures are the extremely clean the hand signed note without a single burn hole in the ink and the reverse is a very vibrant red. A high quality pair like this rarely comes up for auction, making this a rare opportunity to buy two this well matched and preserved.  These notes must be sold togther to keep the pedigree intact
