Fr 1273-5 spwmb 15¢ Grant/Sherman Fractional Currency Third Issue PMG CU63 would be a Gem if cut to a narrow margin note.  This note has perfect embossing and looks like it was printed last week and not a century and a half ago.  This note is famous for being printed in limited quantities and only in specimen format. This note was a victim of Congress' laws preventing living humans from being represented on coins or currency after Spencer Clark placed his own portrait on the 5 cent note.
