April 5, 1781 CT Colonial Note signed by David Gibb

A very uncommon colonial note that is not often seen on the market.  Dated April 5, 1781 this Connecticut  Colonial note is signed by David Gibb made payable to Elisha Harrington for 29 pounds 18 shillings and 5 pence. This note is not canceled and exhibits absurd embossing for a note well over 200 years old.
