$20 The Hurlbut Bank - West Winsted, CT Obverse Proof  PMG AU55 CT465G28P ppA.  A very popular note from a very collectible Connecticut bank that has many lower denomiation proofs existing but this cataloguer is unable to find one of the $20 proof in any public offerings.  This note is listed as SENC (surving example not confirmed) in Haxby.  This note is a very nice specimen from the archives of the American Bank Note Company.  Somewhere along the way this note was hole punched and corner cancelled with a repair from a collector many years later.
