There are an extremely limited number of surviving small size notes from this central Connecticut bank that only issued $10 type 1 notes.  The notes from this bank are all well circulated with only a few known uncirculated notes.  These notes rarely show up for sale in public auction and this is one of the few notes offered for public sale.
