1953 5¢ Jefferson Nickel PCGS MS66

1953 5¢ Jefferson Nickel NGC MS66. There is only 1 1953 Jefferson nickel submitted to PCGS with a grade higher than this coin. Very few nickels from the 1950’s have a nice appearance.  Defying the odds, this coin has a nicely toned obverse that borders on almost proof like with blueish green toning with rosy cheeks.  This is without a doubt one of the nicer coins that PCGS has graded.  There are only 20 full step nickels graded for 1953 by PCGS.
